             he begins to have feelings for her. He was initially suppose to ruin her reputation, .
             but this plan backfired because it led to him falling in love and eventually loosing .
             his life. .
             "Cruel Intentions" appeals to the public because it deals with characters that .
             are very vibrant and real. We are surrounded in this world with both evil and .
             manipulative people who tend to affect those who have genuine feelings and .
             mean no harm. The movie is filled with a lot of different impact identities with .
             relatively small roles who are used as part of Sebastian and Kathryn's .
             scheme. How many times in life has someone you know personally changed? .
             The response to this question will most likely be a lot. These changes in .
             personality of which I speak of, are usually drastic changes who literally change .
             a person completely. Sebastian in this film endures a drastic change in .
             personality which touched the extremes. He went from a snobby, shallow, .
             manipulative character, to a character who basically showed he had a heart.
             The majority of the characters in this film are wealthy. Not that being .
             wealthy is a negative thing, but this film did give the public a negative view on the .
             higher society. Sebastian and Kathryn for the most part were two characters that .
             were obsessed with power, this was the result of having money and being used .
             to having everything the way you want it in life. They are both extremely cruel .
             and enjoy seeing others suffer. This is an indication that the reason they have .
             time to be evil and manipulative is because of the fact that they have nothing else .
             to worry about. This movie is probably the perfect example of how when a child is .
             brought up not having to work for anything he has it produces nothing but .
             negative results. Having access to wealth usually means you have access to .
