Who was at fault for the titanic

The tragedy that transpired during the short voyage of the liner Titanic was sheer ignorance. Bruce Ismay and Captain Smith were too confident in themselves, believing the ship was unsinkable for one and secondly, that the ship could, with no doubt, carry the 2,200 passengers safe and sound to New York they misjudged.
Bruce Ismay was the director of the White Star Line and had been largely responsible for the construction of the Titanic. Due to the fact that he was in charge for making the Titanic look respectable, a new transatlantic record was right up his alley. Arriving in New York ahead of schedule by increasing speed seemed plausible and completely rational. So when the Titanic did encounter an iceberg; the massive ship Titanic; would take more time and maneuver slower. .
The lifeboats were another story, for even the officials of the White Star line thought that more lifeboats would reduce the overall lavishness and comfort of the liner, so to them less was more. After climbing onto a lifeboat to save himself, Ismay had been accused of being a coward, fleeing from the disaster he was, at least to some extent, at fault for. .
Captain Edward J. Smith had his own heap of unintelligent choices, not quite as bad as Ismay's, but still added to the disaster. Unnecessary choices were made on that voyage, such as there not being any emergency drills nor familiarity of any kind in lowering and handling lifeboats from the officials; even the passengers themselves had no drill practice or even had a lifeboat assigned. To be blunt, the ship was occupied with plenty of inadequate people, all in charge of getting the passengers safely to New York which evidently never happened. When it came to directing the ship, Smith had been rather negligent, for the Captain knew there had been warnings of icebergs and rashly took the Titanic farther south than needed. Overall, Smith and his officers had no clue how to handle a ship of that magnitude.
