How did lenin revise marxism

Lenin was a great believer in Marx work and almost completely agreed with every word of his work. He did however realise that slight amendments could be made in order to create a communist state more efficiently. Lenin revised Marx's ideas so that a communist revolution could be introduced quicker and in Russia.
Vladimir Lenin was the leader of the Bolshevik party meaning "the majority". The Bolshevik party had arisen after a divide in the RSDLP occurred due to a disagreement over membership of the party. The other section of the RSDLP was known as the Mensheviks meaning " the minority". Lenin's party was prepared to seize power as soon as possible. The Mensheviks didn't believe that Russia was developed enough to sustain a revolt. In order to be ready to begin a revolution Marx said that the state had to be sufficiently developed, it had to be a capitalist state and industrialised, whereas at this time Russia was still very much a country of agriculture. Lenin believed that Russia was sufficiently developed and this is his first revision of Marxism.
Marx believed that a in order for there to be a revolution there had to be a strong divide between the rich (the bourgeoisie) of the nation and the poor (the proletariat). A capitalist state would create this monopolistic division because the rich would become richer and the poor would become poorer until the poor would struggle to survive. The proletariat would then have to revolt in order to gain better conditions for themselves and smash the bourgeoisie. The current rule of the government would then fade and the revolt would be complete.
Lenin realised this and realised that the conditions in Russia were nearly ideal because there was a large majority of peasants in the nation. He realised that if he could motivate the proletariat then they would become his ammunition for a revolution because of the numbers and impact they would have.
