Marriage

Why does the Christian Church disapprove of divorce?.

For some reasons marriages don't work, and couples decide to separate. In some cases divorce can leave lonely, upset children. Christian believe couples can save relationships whatever the problem may be. They believe that marriage is a long-life teaching union of couples, and is indissoluble. But in some cases separation is the only answer.
In the Bible, Jesus doesn't approve of divorce. He sees marriage as when 'twain shall be one flesh'. In other words two become one. Think of it as a jigsaw puzzle, male is one piece and female is the other. There are loads of other pieces of different puzzles(also male and female). These puzzle pieces are joined together by love .Only two pieces fit together to complete the picture. If you separate the female off a completed picture and tried to match the male with another jigsaw piece, it won't fit, or the picture would be incomplete. This is how Jesus saw it. Marriages should last forever, to break the bond is immoral And throughout he's teachings. Whenever the matter arises. His opinion will be the same. Christian follow the teachings of Jesus. So affectively today they will hold the same opinion. But times have changed.
It must seem very immoral, to make so many promises in the name of God, and to go and break them. It's almost can be seen as disrespectable to God. Let's take a look at the views of divorce, from the different denomination of Christianity.
The Roman Catholic church acknowledge that in some cases it is necessary, for Catholics to go through divorce(civil form), but the Church will not bless a second marriage if the partner of the first marriage still survived .
