We walked so slowly across the street that I became afraid that we were liable for receiving a ticket for holding up traffic for a long period of time. Once we reached the other side the old woman reached into her carpet bag purse and pulled out a beautiful flower, insisting that I take it. The flower was so beautiful; it was a perfect creation. It was a lily with tiny little rose colored dots on the edges of the petals, a long forest green stem, and yellow dusted stamens.
Myles and I were down to a walk at this point in our jog. I twirled the newly acquired flower as we walked down the street. We were walking by the bus station, as we walking, we suddenly became engulfed in a wave of people. There was a lady in front of us with a pen in her hair holding her bun together. I was amazed that her hair held. I was watching her hair so intensely and trying to figure how to do it myself when I noticed it became loose. The beautiful pen was beginning to slip from the grasp of her hair. We approached the congested bus station. We were walking on the outskirts of the sidewalk in order to avoid the masses when I noticed a familiar item. It was the pen from the lady's hair, I picked it up and quickly stuck it in my left pocket and kept walking.
Myles and I became were. We entered a small restaurant and asked to be seated outside due to the abnormally large and red "No animals- sign plastered upon the wall. The ridiculous waiter said that I could not be seated anywhere, not even out on their patio, because I had a dog with me. I asked him again with a little humor, telling him that Myles the inbred dog was to dumb to bark or be rude, but his answer was simple and blunt, "no, sorry, no-. I continued to pester him and ask him why Myles could not sit outside with me. I glanced at his nose and wondered if it was possible for him to stick his nose any higher in the air when he replied: "many of our customers do not appreciate animals in an eating environment-.
