Every ten phylarches operate under a higher official, called a senior phylarch. Senior phylarches meet in a committee chaired by the chief executive. No person is allowed to discuss comitte maters outside.Thier are slaves in Utopia, they are not bought they where either captured as a prisoner of war or peop;e condemed to death in other countries and they could also so be Utopians that have comitted crimes. People can chose to die if they are very ill and they are also offered medical treatment if sick.Utopians are not allowed to merry at a certain agemen must be 22 to merry and women must be 18.Wars are not fought by Utopians they are either fought by propaganda or merceneries.Utopians only fight if they are being attacked. They do not sign treties with other countries they take a coutries word more seriously than a piece of paper.
Thomas More uses one way to describe his book.He uses third person point of view to describe the fisrt part of the book.In the second part of the book he uses third person point of view.More includes himself in the book but yet he still chooses to refer himself as just another charecter in the book. This does not really change anything understanding the book. The book would not make any sence if it was written in fisrt person point of view since More is not the on describing the country of Utopia. But More does make many good points even though they are a bit to conservative.
The book Utopia has a few problems with it but they are minor nuesences. One of those problems is More split the book into two parts for no apperent reason. And also some of the book has nothing to do with utopia such as the argument with the cradinal. Those sections should not be included in the book since I cant really find a reason why they are in the book in the first place.Their is nothing ealse to say about the book that needs to be changed. The book was written very well. And I picked up a well tranlated version of the book that included commentaries and references to the past.
