Words

Living in a world of racial prejudice, hate, and greed, words can be powerful weapons, and can be used against anyone in a horrible way. In ways that can make you hurt and cry inside, and can lead to violence. Violence like: fighting, staving, shootings and bombings. Of all the words of the vocabulary there are words that are positive and bring hope words like "I love you" and "One million dollars." These type's of words make you feel good inside and sometimes even lift your spirit. .
Two of the most powerful words I know, and hear almost everyday are "fuck you." These words are very powerful because if you say them to someone the persons reaction would be negative, and he/she would probably get offended and say "fuck you." Saying the word "fuck you" starts trouble, and ends in violence. At times it is said among friends, and it is not taken seriously because it is being said jokingly. An example of how the word fuck you would be used jokingly between friends; two friends are walking down the street one tells the other a personal joke like "how's your mom," and the other would say "fuck you.".
Since there friends they would not take it to heart because of the fact that they know each other, and they know there both joking. Another example friends use fuck you is when they have something, and they take it from one another. Knowing from experience saying fuck you to a total stranger starts problems, and can get you in trouble. An experience with powerful words would be at a party I went to with some friends, and Johnny had drank too much, he went around telling people to "get the fuck out." The other persons took that remark personal, and defended themselves in a violent matter, he had many verbal confrontations because of his big mouth. There was a confrontation that lead to a fight, but the circumstances that lead to those words being said were because of one too many drinks been consumed.
