A dark dismal day in the New York State Supreme Court, I walk in with shackles banging around with a big orange jumpsuit blinding the crowd. Two-deputy sheriff's escorting me with a dead silent audience in the background. I sit down in a chair that so many people have sat before in front of people that can take away my life or spare it. A cold crisp breeze rolls though the room feeling like all the sprits of the dead and tortured men and women that suffered at the hands of me. The tall dark walls can not contain the evil that lives inside my soul and body. A tall man walks from behind the walls wearing a long black gown and taking his time to take his seat above the growing crowd. The two big wooden doors slam and the group of people draw to a pin drop silence. This court case would go into history and I would go down as one of the most famous serial killers of all time.
On the right side of the room I sit hands folded on my lap with a straight face every once in a while cracking an evil smirk. Think curly brown sideburns run along my pale white face. A pair of dark framed glasses sits on a long outstretched nose that so many have made fun of before. Looking on the past what has made me do these unexplainable and terrible crimes? My life plagued with insecurities and horrible loss and it all lead up to this. Nothing should make someone take a life not even what has happened to give someone that state of mind. That is what happened I could not take it back. This is who I am and I deal with the consequences David Berkowitz no one else but me. .
