Romantic Composer Chopin and Brahms



             1829: Chopin visited to Vienna and had a few entrances which showed that Chopin was really well in improvisation. Chopin became suddenly famous.
             July 8, 1830: Chopin played in the national theatre his "Don Giovanni Variations Opus 2".
             November 1, 1830: Chopin gave his big farewell concert in Warsaw.
             November 2, 1830: In cause of the Polish revolution Chopin leaved Poland for ever and went to Vienna and meet Carl Czerny, one of the greatest pianists in 1825.
             Febuary 26, 1831: Chopin gave his debuet in Paris and moved there but two month later Chopin had to leave Paris because of a cholera-epedemic, which killed about 2000 people.
             Chopin became friend with Franz Liszt and Felix Mendelssohn, both are also important componists of that period, and with a few other musicians.
             August 1832: Chopin saw Liszt again, who was escaped to Swiss. .
             During the next two years Chopin gave a few concerts, also a few for four hands with Liszt. But Chopin had to earn more money so he gave piano lessons, specially for polish imigrants.
             Dezember 1834: Chopin was always sick and then he got finally the tubercolosis.
             1835: Chopin saw his parents for the last time in Karlsbad because they are there for vacation. In this year Chopin had fallen in love in Dresden with Maria Wodzinska from a Polish upper family but they could not marry because her father did not allowe the marriage.
             Oktober 1836: Chopin meet the baronie Aurore Dudevant ( known as George Sand) a writer.
             July 1837: Chopin and Wodzinska splitted up and Chopin went back to Paris where Chopin meet Robert Schumann and Clara Wieck, later Clara Schumann.
             Summer 1838: George Sand and Chopin had fallen in love with each other.
             1840: Chopin and Sand visited the Spanish consul in Paris.
             His sickness became worser and worser and many of his friends visited him because they thought that he would died soon.
             Juli 1847: George Sand and Chopin splitted up.
             1848: He toured to London and Glasgow where he gave his last concerts.
