Choosing A Team Leader

In a team that is formed, there often is a leader or president of some sort that takes office. This is someone that basically helps organize all that the group will be getting involved with. When the team has been formed, the leader can be placed on board by an election; or is assigned by someone of a higher authority than any other in the team or group; or a person can voluntarily offer his/herself to be the leader. .
An election: This is when a group votes to select the winner for an official position by way of ballot holdings. Usually, but not always necessary; there are at least two or more persons running for that one position. They are nominated, and await a fair election. Every member of the group hears each side of the candidates, and weighs their options. Who ever (in your individual opinion) in the opposing side sells themselves the best, is the one you will vote for. A poll will be taken, be it verbally or written; ballots may be filled out (depending on how formal.) The candidate with the most votes becomes the new leader/officer. This is how an election is conducted, and the winning officer is then placed into office.
A volunteered leader is a person rendering their aide of leadership voluntarily. A group is formed; it is unanimous amongst the group that someone should lead the team. The way this team has been formed, an election isn't called for. All members of the team ask one another which one of us would like to be the leader? From there on, any one that would like to offer their services to and for the group may do so at their own free will. Now another way a leader can take his/her place in office is when they are placed under specific commands usually by one of higher authority. It's found that with any group or team consisting of two or more persons, it is easier conducted once a leader involved. .
When there is a formation of some sort of a team, group, organization etc a president/leader is always present.
