Private Schools

Most people would agree that education is important in today's society. The level of education determines the future path of a person. If people disregard their high school level of learning, then his SAT scores will show his effort and his acceptance to a college may be hindered. All parents want the very best opportunity for their children to succeed in life. They may strive to find the best high schools to enroll their kids in, or they might stay up late at night the help their son or daughter with homework. Some parents may even sacrifice a lot of money to enroll their kid into a private school program. This alternative may provide a high level of education, but may have some hidden drawbacks. Students who attend a private school throughout elementary and high school education are not culturally aware of modern day society. .
The public school system provides more for a student then just an institution for learning. The public school system is the first major "social" interaction children will receive during their early life. Students who lack the 'normal' public educated student body are not exposed to the atmosphere of the general population. Higher population of public schools also allow much more social interaction with other teenagers. Along with bigger class sizes, the cultural diversity is also extremely larger in public schools than in private schools. The larger class sizes give more opportunity to express different views on theories and ideas. However, in a private school environment, a student may have to suppress is ideas for fear of many reasons. Some religious private schools forbid certain ideas to be exposed to the student body by anybody. A student who expresses an idea for dancing in a private Baptist private school may be suspended or expelled.
Not only do private schools have less social interaction, but also lack in extracurricular activities. Private schools have less physical activities such as sports to chose from.
