Private schools vs. Public schools


            Many people believe that sending their children to a private school is much better then letting their child attend a public school. One of the important elements rarely mentioned in comparing public and private schools, whether it is religious or secular, is that private schools typically spend one-half to one-third as much as public schools. Yet how different or similar public and private schools really are is not well understood. Many debates and survey were conducted in order to determine which school is better. Private and public schools have many common factors that are observed in the schools. .
             Many schools show that organizational variation among different types of private schools and some significant similarities between public schools and some types of private schools. For instance, compared to other private schools, Catholic schools often have more similarities with public schools. Many parents are influenced that private schools are much better then public schools which is not true because both private and public schools have positive and negative factors to each.
             Many private schools that are religious based schools are mainly for religion. Although religious development of students is the most important goal among many private schools, comparable proportions of public, Catholic, and unaffiliated religious secondary schools hold academic excellence as their main educational goal. Public schools have more diverse students then most private schools. Public schools must accept everyone regardless of disabilities, test scores, religion, or other characteristics which is more acceptable to many students. .
             There are many pros and cons to public and private schools, such as for many public schools many children who come from low-income families usually attend pubic schools. Private schools have a better history of getting results in teaching information and values than public schools, many people will likely pay more to educate their children, because private schools have a better name and are known to have a good education base.
