As the book opens, the Pevensie children (Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy) are suddenly called back to the magical land of Narnia from a British rail station. When they got to Narnia, they found out that the evil Tamarind King Miraz is rulings Narnia with an iron fist. The king's nephew, Caspian, has discovered the truth about Narnia and has fled the palace in fear for his life. These are the main characters of this novel. From here on, they engaged in an adventurous task to restore Narnia to its rightful ruler, Prince Caspian.
If I could be a character in the story, it would definitely be Prince Caspian. The reason for this choice is obvious. I personally like the position that he played in the story; he is very honorable and courageous. He stands up for what he believes in, and no one can force him to do what he think is wrong. He is willing to fight to the death to defend his beliefs whether it is by him or with thousands, he would hold tight to his creeds. Another thing I like about him is that even though he is a Prince, he?d still help and talk to regular people. He doesn't have that spoil nature, and treats his fellow humans impartially.
The climax of this book is when Prince Caspian ran away from the evil king. When prince Caspian ran away, the evil king discovered Prince Caspian's evil intentions and went after him. Prince Caspian ran as hard as he could. He ran into a two-way intersection. One road can lead him to freedom where he can find help to vanquish the evil king. Another road leads to the evil king's cage. Prince Caspian would be killing; no one will ever rid Narnia of the evil king. Prince Caspian contemplated for a while to which way he should take. Each passing seconds, the evil king was getting closer and closer to catching him. Prince Caspian thought for a while and arbitrarily Chose the first road, a lucky choice for it brought him freedom, and the help of the four children.
