The definition of Capital Punishment is legal infliction of death as a penalty for violating criminal law. There are many methods of execution that have been used for capital punishment, such as crucifixion, stoning, drowning, burning at the stake, impaling, and beheading. Today capital punishment is done by lethal gas or injection, electrocution, hanging, or shooting.
I, myself am not totally against capital punishment. For example, if someone were to steal or to physically Harass someone, they should be sentenced to a prison, or paying a fine. I think even for third or second degree murder imprisonment should take place. Even the consequence for first degree murder should be imprisonment. Although I think the imprisonment for first degree murder should be a life sentence. I honestly and truly believe capital punishment should be used more often in the United States. .
I honestly and truly believe capital punishment should be used more often in the United States. The worst thing for me to see is someone who kills a lot of people go to jail for say, 20 years. I think if someone takes one person's life away they should spend the rest of their life in jail. Although I think that's being a bit more than fair. I think what fair is, is that you kill someone, you should die. So with no doubt, I think if you murder more than one person, capital punishment should take place.
