             I am currently learning about meteorology in my .
             science class. Meteorology is scientific study of the changing .
             atmosphere around our planet. One major part of meteorology is the .
             planet's weather. The winds are a major part of this planet's .
             atmosphere. .
             I was also recently given a project, which concerns .
             how winds move along with boats. I have given a small solid block of .
             wood, which would become my boat. My objective for this project is .
             to create a boat, which can move along with the wind. My boat must .
             float and move forward. Also my boat must be decorated and have a .
             working sail. Then after it is completed it will be raced in water race .
             competition.

             Transportation has been a necessity through all time. There are .
             many forms of transportation. The most basic form transportation .
             on the water is boats. Boats have been around for thousands of years. .
             The boat has been a very important invention for mankind. .
             In history boats have been made for many important reasons. .
             An example of this is the most simple and basic purpose is for .
             transportation. Early humans needed a way to get from one point to .
             another easier. With the invention of the early boat humans could .
             now travel across water. This might seem simple but this was a huge .
             milestone in mankind. .
             Now that the boat was created humans took advantage of this .
             new creation. Ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians, Assyrians, .
             Sumerians and Babylonians were huge traders. They had many .
             merchants to trade between each other. With the boat, merchants .
             can easily travel on rivers to communicate and trade between one .
             another. The boat greatly increased their agriculture.
             Another key use for the boat was for warfare. Early navy .
             boats were useful in conquering.
