Inspiration

"He who gains victory over men is strong, but he who gains victory over himself is powerful (Lao-Tzu)." September 11th was a turn of events so horrific that American's now eight months later are still having difficulty coping with the heightened security in airports, the recession, the fear, and the loss. No other time in American history has a single day had such awful effects on its citizens. American's are uncertain of their future existence, they ask questions no one could answer except God Almighty Himself. Citizens of the United States have no other choice but to be inspired and lifted up by God's Word. The day of 9-11-01, huge amounts of people turned their lives around for God, seeking religion as an inspiration. In Isaiah 63:9 he says, "When they suffered, He suffered also (KJV).".
According to the Webster's Dictionary, the word inspires means "to in fuse an animating, quickening, or exalting influence into, or to communicate or suggest by a divine influence (364). After September 11th the world changed, more people were emotionally and spiritually broken. God wants His people to be broken, to be in search for more answers to why and how. According to Richard Feynman, author of "The Relation of Science and Religion," religion has many aspects, it answers all kinds of questions (511). To maintain the real value of religion people must examine three important aspect of religion: the metaphysical, which answers questions about the nature of God, man, and existence; the ethical, which tells us how to behave morally; and the inspirational, which gives us strength and comfort (Feynman, 511).
Faith is the belief in things when common sense tells you not to. People have to have faith to believe in God, man, and existence to human life without the metaphysical aspect of religion everyone would be loners and single without love. As the mind develops, humans start asking philosophical questions, these are the questions that have no answer and possible answers seem to contradict one another.
