            The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
             Stephen Covey is a well know for his book The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. He has outlined seven principles which could change anyone's life. The book starts out with the observation that people perceive the world differently, and because we view the world with our own unique way, it is difficult to separate the observation from the observer. Covey believes that we all have our own paradigm, which is our map of how we perceive the world and how we think the world should be in our ideal view. He writes, "The way we see things is the source of way we think and the way we act. He believes that these paradigms are the source of our attitudes and behaviors. If you change only outward attitudes and behaviors does very little good in the long run if they fail to examine the basic paradigms. Part of achieving insight involves making a move on the paradigm, which will cause us to view things differently. He writes that life bad experiences or major life changes in a your life can change your paradigm. Many of us want to be effective in our lives and achieve goals, but we are not willing to examine our own paradigms. Your paradigms will affect how you interact with others, which in return will affect the way you interact with everyone else. The first three habits are habits of independence, the last four habits are habits of interdependence.
             The first of the seven habits is being proactive. Being proactive means not only taking initiative, but also taking responsibility for everything that happens in your life. What happens in your life is a result of your own decisions as individuals and not tour conditions. Meaning whatever you do in your life is a result of an action that you take, and not to balm on your surrounding environment. He believes that you must .
