writers block

As we experience life, we encounter writing assignments with various topics and sizes which, through trial and error, we have allowed criticism from others to discourage us from further commitment to writing.
As children we have so much to say and few who will listen which, through reading and writing, found a way to express to people what we feel and think. Starting at the beginning of the writing process, we find it a rather difficult and time consuming project, but realize through the years that is gets easier and easier to do. It appears we have tackled the process of reading and writing, but few talents actually become known for fear of what family and friends would think, thus the abilities are mostly applied at home where nobody will see to criticize. So, as children we are programmed in school to read and write, which we do not practice once we hit the doors because it is not the norm.
As a young child, peers influenced us to believe writing as a boring old person's job, whereas when we hit adolescence, we are encouraged to find writing a sophisticated form of showing who you are. As a child, we seen our teachers writing all kinds of stuff constantly, whereas all of the kids sitting around you in the classroom talked of how boring it is to write, and anybody who liked to write, had to be a nerdy little teachers pet. When we grow older, writing counts more in everything you do, and a person of the opposite sex always found a letter or poem as a real meaning of feelings, so people started fixing there writing to fit in.
Some people know how to structure, or make sense of what they write, whereas others just can't find a way to make sense of what they write, or learn from their mistakes, further discouraging them from ever wanting to write. People who know how to structure their writing still make mistakes, however they learn from their mistakes which enables them to fix the problem from recurring.
