romeo and juliet

Young adults often make rash decisions, but most do not end with such bitter consequences. Foolish, quick thinking put Romeo and Juliet in their dilemma which seemed to have no answers besides suicide. If Romeo and Juliet felt they were ready for adult actions, they should also be ready to take the repercussions like adults; instead they gave up, this is why they are to blame for their own deaths.
Romeo is at fault because he made many rash decisions. For example, after knowing Juliet only five minuets he was ready to die for her "Let them find me here. My life were better ended by their hate than death prorogued, wanting of thy love"(11.769.75-78). He would rather risk his life to see her for a minute than to live in "agony" for another day. He could have waited and made a plan to see her another time so that the risks were fewer. For instance, one of his foolish thoughts was after he heard of Juliet's death he immediately acted. "Get me ink and paper and hire post horses, I will hence tonight."(5.836.25-26) Romeo was not very wise, he believed every thing he heard. Instead of waiting for real evidence he rushed off to join Juliet in death. Leaping before looking lead Romeo to his death, though it was not completely his fault.
Juliet also had her share of faults, she was easy to win over by Romeo and passive to the extent that she was bound by what she let others decide for her. This is shown when he meets her on her balcony "Or if thou think'st I am too quickly won I'll frown and be ferverse and say nay, so thou wilt woo, but else not for the world. In truth, fair Montague I am to fond"(11.769.95-98). Even though she seemed strong, she was obviously overwhelmed by Romeo's affection for her. Before Juliet knew Romeo's name, she already experienced his kiss. An example of Juliet's passive nature, was when in desperation she agrees to friar's plan to stage her own death. "What if this mixture do not work at all shall I be married then tomorrow morning??/ No No this shall for bid it lie thou there"(4.
