It is within these 3 stations that some of America's most popular and reputable new anchors have risen. With colleagues such as Dan Rather and Walter Cronkite, Peter Jennings has a remarkable career, which has shown the awesome power that modern mass media communication can have. .
             Peter Charles Jennings was born on July 29th in Toronto Canada and was the son of an already highly successful radio news personality for the CBC (Canadian News Corp)2. Perhaps it was his father that sparked his interest for journalism as it only took the rising star 10 years to land his first radio show. Mr. Jennings first position was for a Canadian radio station in which he anchored a Saturday morning radio show entitled Peter's Program2.
