Staying Slim


            Many people in the United States of America suffer from some sort of eating di.
             sorder, whether it is eating too much, eating too little, bulimia, or anorexia. Many women in the U.S. try to go on a diet. If that does not work they give it up and resort to harsher solutions such as anorexia. Anorexia has one of the highest death rates of all psychiatric illnesses. Anorexia may sound like a disease, but is rather considered as a lifestyle. Anorexia is a mental problem, which one starves his or herself so that they can look prettier, slimmer, and sexier. Although anorexia makes one look slimmer and more beautiful, it is a terrible lifestyle that leads to harsh consequences; one puts his in a closer risk to dying, and is extremely unhealthy.
             Many models in the United States of America are anorexic. Females in their mid-adolescent years follow these devastating examples. Basically the models are not only advertising clothing, but the size one must look in order to appear sexy in them. Somehow, the models advertise anorexia through these shows. People who are in favor of anorexia believe that it makes one more sexually attractive being bony and skinny. Anorexia is the worst solution to become beautiful. .
             In conclusion, although anorexia supposedly makes one look slimmer, and more beautiful, it is a terrible lifestyle that has harsh consequences, puts one to a closer risk of dying, and is extremely unhealthy. People should consider or rethink four times whether he wants to loose weight either through anorexia, bulimia, or anything else that requires starving one self, or through a healthy diet that doctors recommend. .
