It is clear to me that "laughter is the concert of life." There is nothing more satisfying than making and watching people laugh. The diversity in a person's laugh is easier for me to identify than someone's skin color or ethnic background. The most distinct categories for laughter are: the dry heave, the snort and my personal favorite, the totally bizarre.
Everyone one and their Grand-mother has come across a "dry-heave" type of laughter at one point in their existence. This is not an unusual laugh, but it is first-class material. When someone finds something particularly humorous he or she may open their mouth wide as if they are about to belch something out, but no noise is made. They simply mimic a normal laugh, but without sound. This laugh is usually seen with "too funny for words jokes." When someone "dry-heaves" he or she has no choice but to gasp for air, seeing as there is no room or time for breathing. This is very amusing for those watching the "dry-heaver." .
It is a sad and unfortunate occasion when someone releases a snort. The people over-looking surrounding environment cannot help but have feelings of shock and embarrassment towards "the snorter." This type of laugh occurs when someone is laughing uncontrollably, and like a flash, a giant, pig-like snort is released. It surprises everyone! Even though this is a horrible experience for the "snorter," it creates uproarious amounts of laughter in the bystanders. This laugh is exceptionally contagious. .
There is not one distinct characteristic that defines a "totally bizarre" laugh. This laugh is unique to each individual; it grabs the attention of everyone and is absolutely fantastic in all aspects. The individual definitely does not know he or she has a bizarre laugh, or else they would probably stop or change it. This laugh also falls under the category of being "contagious." No one can hear this laugh and think it is ordinary, or by pass the laugh without laughing themselves.
