In most cases when we hear the word "supervisor" we hardly associate it with something good. However, there are some important qualities that a boss should posses in order to make our thoughts positive. First, he should treat the workers in his company as his equals, not as slaves and, second but not less important, he should be a professional and know well what exactly he is doing. Thus, he and his employees will have the necessary conditions to work as a team.
On the one hand, when you start work, you know well what your duties are and where your place is. However, in most cases the boss forgets all this, treats you as if you were a slave, and thinks that you should know how to do everything well. That makes the atmosphere very strenuous and the work is not of full value. For example, my brother worked for "Lucoil" and his director treated him like a dog, he had to do all kinds of work there and all the time to listen to abuses. However, there is a limit to everything. He went off his job because after all he could not stand this sort of attitude any more.
On the other hand, your supervisor should be a real professional because when you do understand your job but your boss does not, the situation becomes intolerable. He will never know what he wants and why he wants it and that places you at a disadvantage - you cannot do your work properly and are constantly accused of inefficiency. My father's new boss is from Plovdiv, rules two branches of the firm, and gives the same task to two different persons and everything becomes a big mess. However, when they made a complaint about his threatened, he told them that he would fire them.
As a conclusion, I can add that we should not work for someone but for something because the boss is a person who just supervises the work to go properly. Moreover, he depends on his workers, and, not his desires but theirs should be the ones to be listened to and granted.
