Descrimination

Markedly after September 11th Middle Easterners are more susceptible in case of violations and aggressions. It is in the public's mind that we, Moslems, are terrorists. The thing that is very sad is that while Moslems are complaining about why they are recognized as terrorists, they are accused of supporting terrorism. .
But it is not really the case. Killing innocent people is an unforgivable act in any religion and culture anywhere, and should be punished at the maximum. Manslaughter is the most horrible and intolerable thing that a human can do. There are no boundaries for the consequences and punishment that the causers should take in any religion and country. As any other human, we, Moslems also suffer so much when we see these disasters are happenings. We are affected by these nasty acts, and it touches their hearts as any other person who has feeling and soul. We, as well, regret for the victims and feel sympathy for their families so much. We wish we would be able to prevent all these wild and dirty incidents from happening. I don't want to deny that Arabs and Moslems organized many of these terrorism attacks, but their religion cannot be the reason. They are so many political and national motivations behind these events. The mass media present a stereotyped picture of life, which can often lead to undesirable prejudices within not just national, but international, society. The mass media and in particular the television and print based news are often accused as being a significant source, in wide ranging and varied ways, of enhancing common stereotypes. It is argued now that in the case of women, ethnic groups, the disabled, certain professions, the old, the physically unattractive and even nationalities are all presented according to accepted stereotypes. .
These disasters should not put all the Moslems and Middle Easterners in a position of being suspected. The acts of some should not spoil other Moslems" reputations; they are also human beings like anybody else who can understand, suffer, enjoy, love and be loved.
