Globalisation

Globalisation has been at the core of many great ethical debates for quite some time. There can be no doubt that it has become one of the most pressing problems confronting humanity today yet there still so much confusion surrounding exactly what it is. .
There doesn't seem to be one definition of globalisation, as many people who try to give a definition tend to include their personal bias on the matter within their answer. .
So what is globalisation? (As unbiased as possible).
Globalisation is a process. It is the process of expanding a corporation's various activities over a worldwide backdrop in order to achieve the aims and objectives set out by that organisation. In order to achieve these objectives "going global" is seen as the only solution.
             What are these objectives?.
The set aims and objectives tend to vary within each different organisation although most goals come back to maximizing profit to the owners of the organisation (the shareholders) and in turn the workers of the organisation.
The process of globalisation is often able to achieve this goal due to the fact that by expanding overseas the organisation is often able to improve its market share, improve productivity, and able take a strong step into the future against its competitors.
Globalisation can be seen as either a positive or a negative aspect of society depending on the way you look at it from. .
It can easily be seen as a good thing if you were one of the workers or owners on the organisation becoming global as it could be the one thing bringing in an income to support you and your family. There is certainly a lot of benefits when looked at from this point of view. So what is the problem? .
Where is this huge problem faced by humanity?.
Well there isn't all winners when it comes to globalisation.
The down side to globalisation is that the process is aimed to maximize profits this is down by lowering costs and improving productivity.
