Therefore, if the parents are not doing their part in keeping themselves from violence, they are at fault because that is what their children have been taught. After saying that, it is not like that in all situations. It is very often that the parents have no idea what is going on the child's life, and therefore they have nothing to do with their child's violence. Oftentimes, children get a feeling of neglect in the home. This could be due to a variety of different reasons. One reason could be that the parents are so consumed with the problems of their other children, that they seem to overlook the problems of that child. In turn, that child gets a sense of neglect and does not feel loved. Another problem in the home is abuse. The abuse could be between parents, towards siblings, or towards that particular child. If one is around abuse they definitely do not see an example of love in the home. They see abuse, so therefore they think that it is human nature. This is especially relevant if the child has been around abuse or has been abused from a very young age. The next cause of violence in schools is conflicts between peers. These are usually more minor situations, but in some cases it is possible that it can lead to violence. There are many things that can cause conflicts between peers. Usually a conflict starts out as a minor misunderstanding and then gradually becomes larger if it is not taken care of right away. For this reason, one should always take care of their problems soon after they occur so to ensure that it does not become something major. A lot of times, someone gets put in a situation that they have nothing to do with. Therefore, it is crucial that one knows exactly what happened before they blame or confront someone about the problem. Some examples of reasons that can cause conflicts are misunderstandings leading to arguments, racism, problems between girlfriend/boyfriend, and hatred towards those less fortunate.
