Saving Private Ryan


            The battles of WWII were the most immense universal happenings of all time that changed many peoples lives forever. For six years many countries were riskinfg many lives to establish an overall victory. A woman by the name of Mrs. Ryan, watched and waited for her 4 boys to return home. After three of her fours sons died in battle, eight soldiers were given orders for a new mission, to save her only remaining son, to save Private Ryan. This book is not just about saving a life, but about honor and duty. .
             After the battle at Normandy, which was a victory for America, Captin Miller was given orders for his spuad to go on a personnel mission to try and save a Private's life, because this soldier had already lost 3 of his brothers; one at Omaga Beach, the other at Utah Beach, and the third he lost n New Guinea. The United States Army was willing to risk the lives of Captain Miller along with his seven men so that his mother would not lose her only remaining son. .
             During this search for the soldier in Normandy they encountered many attacks from the Nazi's, and six of the eight men ended up dying. When given these orders to find Private Ryan, they were not even sure if he was still alive, but since given these orders they were going to follow them, they had no choice.
