The cowboy theme will make Marlboro the leading brand worldwide. R.J. Reynolds introduced Camel cigarettes, but made no cigarettes until joining Tobacco Trust in 1890. In 1852 Eli and Elisha Slade discovered that Camels were made largely from a flue-cured bright tobacco. As their mascot, of course they used a camel and called him Joe. .

             Janel Horton is a 17 years old teenager and she started smoking at age 11. She is the only one in her group of friends that smoke. Many of her friends have stopped or haven't even started. She feels like the odd bird out, being the only one smoking. He friends have stopped because they have heard what may happen to them. .
             "They stopped because of the things people told them, like they can get cancer and all that stuff." Her friends knew what may happen but Horton doesn't really know what may happen because she has not seen the risk and causes of smoking. "My sister got me doing it, and it's addictive. I just can't stop." No one just starts smoking; teenagers see it on T.V or are influence by someone in their life. She tries to stop but it just keeps coming back to her. "It's just the fact when my nerves go bad and stuff, I just start smoking." She just can't help herself from smoking. She's trying her best to stop. She just has to take it one step at a time.
             An adult shares his story as a teenager about smoking his first cigarette and how he got started. Six weeks before his twelfth birthday, he took up the habit of smoking. He got the influence from his father, and the neighbors. Also the main reason he started was that he had a problem with his weight and his neighbors said that they had lost weight because they started smoking. He was called "Tubby" and "Crisco Kid," he just had to take a chance. He hadn't lost a pound but it was to late to stop because his body was already addicted to nicotine.
