            Assisted suicide and end of life decisions are a very sensitive topic.
             this article did a very good job of listing arguments in favor of or against rational suicide.
             .
             I really like the point that an individual should have the right to make the decision for .
             their lives. It also states that the majority of the public believes that a painful terminal .
             illness is an acceptable reason for a person to choose to end their life. The opposing side .
             feels that most suicidal people are depressed or is an abuser of drugs or alcohol. I feel the.
             opposing side didn't really make any good points about the terminally ill they talked .
             more about suicide in general.
             I also feel that the topic should be discussed among family members, their.
             doctors and have a psychiatric evaluation done but on the other hand if you are terminal .
             ill and in pain but not mentally capable of making this decision should you live in pain.
             The report also stated that the suicide rate among older adults increased .
             around the time they achieved better gains in health, life expectant became prolonged, .
             and their economic situation improved. The report also stated that among all age groups, .
             older people are more likely to die by committing suicide. What I didn't like about that.
             part of the report it did not go into any details such as why?.
             I also feel the report should have had the comments on the religious side of the .
             matter. I feel that the church is a large part of the way people decide what they must do .
             with there lives. .
             This was an informative report in which I got a lot of knowledge from but on the .
             other hand it left a lot of unanswered questions.
