            Once upon a time there was a hero that always put himself before others and did nothing but help people, and try to save the world. A hero is someone who rescues the damsel in distress and whisks the princess away in a magical pumpkin, to his castle on the top of a beanstalk. The End.
             Then the prince falls from the magical beanstalk, back down to reality, and realizes his princess has been cheating on him with a dwarf. Also his castle was confiscated by the IRS, for not paying taxes for five years. Life sets in and its not its cracked up to be. Marilyn Monroe realized this at a young age. Forced to go into the cruel world alone and desperate for change. Marilyn was a beautiful women who tried so hard to be a part of something; Hollywood. In reality a true hero, is a tragic hero, "One who acts against the scheme of things, degrades themselves all for something they believe in". As said by Arthur Miller, but the outcome always ends up in death. Marilyn Monroe was one of these tragic heroes. Marilyn was depressed and led an unhappy life, because of her unfound fame and international sex-symbol image.
             Norma Jeane Baker was born on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, California as a orphan (Marilyn 1). Her whole life she moved from place to place , living with her mother Gladys Baker one minute and then a family friend, Grace Mckee Goddard next. The only way to move on with her life was to marry. She was married to Jimmy Dougherty at a young age. During Goddard family time, Grace was friends with a lady named Ethel Dougherty and sooner or later Norma Jeane was seeing Ethel's son James (ellen 2). She married him as an escape, from facing her self. James was in the forces so he was rarely ever home, later he divorced her in June 1946. Norma knew that there was something else out there for her, Norma was never happy with the little things she just always strive for the best. While she was out one day, a photographer named David Conover saw Norma and started taking pictures of her.
