Vote Showers!

Have you ever sat next to someone and want to vomit because of his/her smell? Well I feel the same way every time I sit with a person who just had wellness. In most schools, there are showers open to students in P.E. class so that they may wash themselves and cleanse their body of this horrid stench. As many may notice, however; our school has no such facilities. I believe that if we did have these showers, P.E. students would not have to go through the agony of smelling like feet for the entire day, and would relieve us of their reeking.
Not having showers is an inconvenience for not only the student, but also the people the student sits next to. Because all students have wellness, all students have to put up with this stench. Our school has a very good wellness program that gives us, the students, a good workout, a good time, and, naturally, a good sweat. So of course we"re going to smell. However, even though we all have to smell this way, we don't all have to keep smelling this way.
So you say that showers cost too much. Well our school recently got a new play ground, even though we already had a perfectly good one. So why would the school board elect to waste money on a brand new twelve-thousand dollar fun-facility unless we had enough money to buy showers as well? On top of that, they dumped the playground out on the grass and sold it for less than it was worth, so we obviously have money to spare. A shower room in our bathroom or gym would cost no more than did that playground, and which do you think is more important?.
There would be plenty of space for an entire room of showers for girls and boys that could fit at least ten people each. The two bathrooms in the primary hallway could easily be torn down and transformed into connecting showers into the girls and boys bathrooms respectively. If you think that that wouldn't be fair to the primary students, it is, because if they can't walk twenty feet farther to go to the bathroom, then they don't deserve to go.
