Traditional methods such as print advertisement, campus recruiting and job fairs, although still useful, are not primarily used in the hiring process anymore. In fact, according to a report in the business journal Strategic Finance, "Internet Recruiting-, the author states that the newspaper is not primarily used today because it is not as efficient as the new online methods. For example, the Internet provides employers with the ability to filter and prescreen applicants beyond any other method because the Internet provides employers with tools such as automated search agents and online application.
