Every day Americans learn about crimes such as .
rape, murders, terrorism, and kidnappings. Capital Punishment is a good penalty for those .
criminals who commit these harsh crimes. If the government was more strict about this .
penalty, there would be a decrease in the crime rate. I honestly believe that there are .
certain crimes that deserve the death penalty without a trail. Also I believe that if we are .
to have the death penalty then it should not be something as simple as lethal injection. In .
many cases, the victim was not simply killed, but their last few moments of life were .
filled with terror. For the punishment to truly fit the crime, the killer's last few moments .
of life must be filled with as much terror as the victims. Once a convicted murderer is .
excecuted, there is no chance that he will break out of jail and kill or injure someone.
Capitol Punishment would be an excellent way to express to the convict exactly what it .
felt like to be in the victims shoe. For instance, if someone bombs a building with 300 .
people in it, that person should suffer the same fate.
Capital Punishment is much better that letting the inmate sit in a cell and die of .
old age. If we do just let the inmate sit in the cell, we would just be wasting money on .
keeping the prisoner maintained. However, executing an inmate is expensive but there are .
no further maintenance costs to the state and we will save money. For example, it would .
save money because it would eliminate the need for a trail. It would also be safer to the .
world because there is no chance of the murderer to come back and commit crimes.
