             unspeakable. One instance in which the Church used brutality tactics was the Spanish Inquisition, .
             which was somewhat similar, but differed slightly from the Roman Catholic Church's Inquisition. .

             not turn to Christianity, and punish them by death. My take on the inquisitions is that by doing .
             such an act, they are saying that Christianity is the only true religion and all of the others can "go .
             to hell". .
             A similar situation to the Inquisitions was Hitler's "white domination" phase, which was .
             conveying to the public that you had to be blonde haired and blue eyed to be important .
             in society, and again that all others can "go to hell". Hitler wasn't a religious figure but shared .
             some of the same characteristics to the inquisitions. He persecuted and murdered innocent .
             people because of they"re religious, and culture differences and he was able to do these acts.
             because of his stature in society and his power gained through his stature. If you have so much .
             power, why not use it to promote peace and tranquility, instead of violence. Hitler and the Church .
             had no definitive reason to commit the crimes at hand, and why would they, murdering innocent .
             people is inexcusable. Thankfully, since these horrendous acts have occurred the world has .
             modernized, or has is? We still continue to hate. So why do we still continue to hate in such a .
             way that would hurt our fellow man, even though we have been constantly reminded of such .
             terrible acts? I personally don't judge books by their covers; in fact I like the diversity of the world .
             and America in modern times? I believe that it is our duty to adapt while developing morals, and .
             that's what some people lack, knowing that this is essential for our survival.
             A lot of the criminals in modern times that commit transgressions in the name of religion .
             have a hard time separating what is morally right and what is permitted, in their views, by .
