Humans have lived on this planet for around 150,000 years. There are people of all different races and cultures living in every area of the world. Research shows that we can all be traced back to share a common ancestry with one female who lived in Africa around 150,000 years ago. Modern science found that we all share mitochondrial DNA with this "genetic Eve." Mitochondrial DNA is passed on by the female; therefore our genetic lines can be traced back to this Eve. .
Eve lived in Africa some 150,000 years ago. Times became hard and the people were forced to move to the coast along the Red Sea. Here they lived off the harvest of the sea. 80,000 years ago the ice caps dried the land and the Red Sea got saltier and fish were harder to catch. This forced the people to leave it and move on to Yemen. Around 250 people made this hard journey. .
After arriving at Yemen many people left and continued on to Malaysia and then on to Australia about 70,000 years ago. Some people left Yemen and moved on to the Middle East and from there on to Europe about 50,000 years ago. Some went the opposite way from the Middle East and headed to the Bering Strait and eventually crossed over into Alaska about 20,000 years ago. Once in Alaska they spread out over North America and South America.
It took thousands of years for the original people from Africa to populate the world. As they moved on from place to place they began to adapt to the new areas. This produced the people with lighter skin colors and various other cultural traits. Once they moved away form the sea they learned to be hunters and gatherers, while some stayed and harvested the ocean, and others ate plants and berries. .
In my opinion this is all very possible. It took thousands of years for the one tribe in Africa to move around the world and slowly populate each region. There were traces of them living in each area therefore it must be true that our ancient ancestors were here and that they did in fact come from Africa.
