God

Different proofs work better for different people. The scientific approach will work better for some than it will for others. Different people are going to look at the proofs in different ways, with different opinions and viewpoints. Proof of God as a first cause, proof of God through conscience, and proof of a God through religious people of history are the three best to use. All of these reasons show clearly why God must exist and are the easiest to understand. Throughout human existence, a need for a supreme being is seen. The universe couldn't have been created out of nothing. Through the natural moral law in every human, shown through conscience, God can be seen. I have come to find that these proofs do prove God exists and are very hard to argue against. .

For the students at St. Joe this is the best proof of God: The universe is growing, everyday; the Milky Way galaxy gets farther and farther away from the next closest galaxies. If time were put in reverse, the distances between galaxies and solar systems would be getting smaller and smaller. Eventually the universe would come back to a point. This theory explains that the universe did have a beginning, it hasn't been around forever. There must exist something that is eternal. As the universe grows and expands it loses energy and light, just like any material thing that experiences depreciation over time. Matter is not eternal. For matter to be uncaused, it would mean to throw out all knowledge of physics, chemistry and many other fields of science. If matter was somehow created out of nothing, all of science would become erroneous. God is the first cause, that created the universe in its entirety. A first cause must exist for the universe to exist. Therefore, God does exist. Humans are finite and bound to their bodies. God is infinite, not bound by anything in the universe. Everything in the universe comes into existence through previous beings and matter.
