My Future Goals

A person needs to achieve certain goals in one’s life before you can call them successful. Success is to achieve goals, you have set. I have set certain goals I would like to achieve in my lifetime. Some of these goals are personal while others are professional. My professional goals in life are to find a good job that makes me happy, get a good education, find a job that makes enough money for me to support my family, and help people.
It is very important for me to receive a good education. Most job fields require a descent education. If I don’t have an education I would not be able to function properly at the work place and I would not understand what to do. To maintain a good job that will make good money will require me to go thorough schooling or training and maybe even both. Education is the first and foremost way to become successful, because the job I will choose will need me go to school and maybe even beyond college.
My happiness in what I do is also a goal for me I my life. There is no way someone can become successful if they are not happy with what they are doing. If their job is going to make them miserable, they will never show 100% in their work and they will slake off.

My health issues can also cause me to be able to keep going in my life. What if I go to the doctor one day and he finds something wrong with me? What if I get cancer or something else? This will hold me back form achieving my goals because my body will not be as strong as it should be to handle the pressure of school, and work. What if I get into a car accident and I become paralyzed? All this conditions can help prevent me from being who I want and getting the job I want. It would be very hard for me to find a job if I am paralyzed I might not even be able to get a job.

In this field I will be working as a delivery nurse and a full time registered nurse. In this field there will always be a job open for me. Hospitals are always in need of nurses to help with people that get sick, or hurt in an accident or anything else. In this field I will get benefits for my family, such as health insurance. This job will help me save money so I can afford to buy a house for my family and pay the bills that come in. My family would come first and if I needed to support them financially I would be set. The Mid annual earnings of registered nurses was $48,090 in the year 2000 in the past few years the pay has risen to about $52,300 a year. Median annual earnings in the nursing industry that I will be in will pay $55,980, to be an on call registered nurse at the hospital. Registered nurses (RNs) work to promote health, prevent disease, and help patients cope with illness. They are assistants and health educators for patients, families, and communities. When providing for patient care, they observe, and record symptoms, and progress in patients. They assist physicians during surgeries, treatments, and examinations; administer medications; and can assist in rehabilitation of patients. RNs also develop and can manage nursing care plans. They instruct patients and their families in proper care, and help individuals and groups take steps to maintain a good health. State laws govern the tasks that RNs may perform; but it is usually the work setting that determines their daily job duties.

By getting married and having a family I believe will bring joy into my life. I believe it can bring a joy that no one can know unless they experience it for themselves. My job will be there for me to help support my family, financially but I want to be able to raise them in a good neighborhood. I want to make sure my own family is happy. It is beautiful to watch your children grow up before your eyes and this is what I want. I believe, as well as most people, that you are successful in life if you have raised a family.
