America was targeted for attack because we are the strongest. The terrorists searched to find our weaknesses and they succeeded. Killing thousands of people does make us as individuals weaker, but our spirit as Americans is strengthened. The attack came with no forewarning. The looks on the faces of people all around the United States on that tragic day were tear filled. The thought of children’s lives being shattered and destroyed makes you ask yourself, what kind of animals would commit such a horrible deed? Innocent lives were taken from us. The friends and families of the victims grieved, and even those who didn’t have relations put in their effort to support the families of the innocent victims. We were all in this together.
