The most important difference between the both is the way people think among the different cultures. The Hispanic culture thinks very highly of the family and strong moral values while on the other hand, Americans show more dedication towards their jobs and making money. Hispanics are more open to experience new things and don’t care what people think about them. As long they are having fun, it good enough for them. They have fun doing the simplest little things. My family in Mexico would always go to a local fair that wasn’t as big as the one in the states, but they would make a fun time for themselves. They would just love to be out and interacting with other people. Every little detail would be brought out and enjoyed tremendously. Americans on the other hand have to have things arranged and have a set schedule of what they want to do. Americans think they have to spend a lot of money to have fun, but that’s not the case. If you just put yourself in another mind set, saying that you will enjoy yourself, chances are, you will. Teenagers in the USA think that they have to do things to fit into certain, “click” or group of people. Being here in the states, the fun thing to do is go to the theatre, hang out at a friend’s house, or get drunk and do stupid things. That’s the idea of a good time for the American teenager. In Mexico teenagers will go out with a big group and go dancing.
