Fortune was a rising senior at McEachern High School in Cobb County, Georgia, when he met Brandy, a rising junior at the same school. Both Fortune and Brandy hit it off instantly, staring a relationship after a week of meeting each other. Little did Fortune know that this relationship with Brandy would permanently affect his life in a negative way. In this paper I will be giving a first-hand account of the failed relationship of Fortune and Brandy. A lot of useful information can be taken from this failed relationship between Fortune and Brandy. The reason I chose to interview Fortune was because he seemed like he was personable and interesting person. I acquainted with Fortune and made friends during the first week of college.
Fortune called his relationship with Brandy, "Virtually love at first sight." Fortune went on to say, "We would spend hours together. We did everything together. We used to help each other study, we used to eat everywhere together, and spent almost two hours a day talking on the phone to each other. I honestly thought I was going to marry that girl and have kids with her." Three weeks into their relationship, both Fortune and Brandy confessed their love towards each other. .
Everything seemed to be going perfectly well. Fortune and Brandy even got voted the class couple by their classmates. However months after their fruitful relationship, Fortune and Brandy's relationship took an unexpected turn. Brandy confessed to Fortune that she had a child from a different lover. "I was just angry that it took her so long to tell me this, otherwise I did not mind too much," said Fortune. Despite this grievance that Fortune had, the relationship continued to bloom. Soon however, more issues started appearing. Rumors about Brandy started circulating around the school. "Everyday a different person came up to me and said, 'yo dawg Brandy hooked up with this guy last night.
