The love poem that appeals to me most is "How Do I Love Thee, Let Me Count The Ways", by Elizabeth Browning. The reason why I love this poem, it relates to my inner feelings. It resembles the love I share with my parents.
The love I have for my parents and the love they have for me is unconditional love. My mother carried me for nine months in her womb.              First of all, I admire Elizabeth Browning's attitude in the poem. Her attitude is very positive about love. The poem portrays an optimistic view about love . Implying, that love is the best thing that could ever happen to you. In my opinion, Elizabeth Browning is a devoted wife. Who would go the extra mile for her husband. Selfless, caring, and self giving are just a few words to describe her. Browning's attitude gives me hope on love. When I stopped believing in love because of a broken heart, it was hard to start over. However, I met someone that pulls out my heart strings and knows me better than myself.
