The Inevitable Changes of Life

"Laziness is the engine of progress," stands a Russian proverb. Indeed, all the times human-being aimed to make his life easier; people have invented various tools to cultivate fossils, invented automobile and plane, and also have created economical and political systems in order to live better and increase humankind's utility.
Let's try to figure out what benefits and drawbacks has Communism, political system, which in the beginning of 20th century promised to make people's life easier and better. "Animal Farm" written by George Orwell in 1945 is a parable about the Russian Revolution. It describes farm animals banding together to overcome their farmer, who exploits their work and products. So animals take control of the farm and create principles of Animalism, which are allegory to the principles of Communism created by Carl Marks. Orwell describes how this new system is deteriorating; at the end of the novel, when pigs seize power and start exploit other animals, author says that eventually common animals cannot distinguish pigs among people. George Orwell didn't actually recognize a new policy of Sovet Union at the beginning of 20th century and predicted its failure. This short novel teaches us that changes that make our life easier - 7 Commandments were quite rational - not necessarily make it better. .
All in all, on the surface, principals of Collectivism seemingly promise us placid and prosperous life, but if one look into them thoroughly and ponder about all possible consequences, it turned out that this policy brings an ample amount of evil and destruction. Take, Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, as an example. Ayn Rand sets out to demonstrate through the action of the novel what happens when countries follow socialist ideas. When people had to place needs of their neighbors above their own self-interest, the result is chaos and evil. Incentive is destroyed and corruption becomes inevitable.
