I have a strength and weakness that is the same thing, which is working at a fast pace. This is my strength because it helps my company get projects done a lot faster so they can make customer’s happy. But this is also my weakness because sometimes I get caught up in trying to complete something and I miss a step that is important. Another one of my strengths is that I know how to research really well in the Internet and in books. This benefits my company and me because anyone can give me a question and I can break it down into one keyword and then look for that keyword in a book and on the Internet to get information on how that keyword is used in life and how it relates to that question. One of my weaknesses is grammar. When writing papers or anything I have grammar issues because I didn’t really get taught on how to use punctuation. I know how to spell and when to start new paragraphs and use quotes. I think just when I have to put in commas and periods I get stuck. Things that I think I need improvement is grammar and how to give others a chance to work on a topic. I know that I am not a last minute person I like to have assignments done a couple of days before they are due so I don’t have to worry about them. For example, I was in this group in college that was writing a proposal and we had to do everything from scratch. I mean we had to research individual topics and we had to draw a network in detail. I was in charge of making sure that everyone was doing there part and that everything was going to be done by our deadline date. So this made me nervous because it was a lot of work and not enough time in the day to do it. So we ended up just missing our deadline date and getting everything put together on our last day of class. I think from that point on every assignment that I got that night I would finish it. So whenever I worked in a group I like to move fast and we had some people that just didn’t have the time to work on this to get it done early so I am learning how to be patient with others.
