For many years, I grew up in a Methodist family in which my parents introduced me to God. So, for many years I was suppose to believe in God because I was told to. Kids are such innocent creatures, that we must teach them to know how things work. And me being a little kid, what else was I supposed to believe in. My parents never told me about the different religions that also exist. Not until I reach my college level in my life, did I find about the different religions out there. They include Buddhism, Islam and many others.

As time passed by, I kept wondering about what makes my parent and everyone else believe in God. And what I found was two things: 1) Everyone is selfish, meaning everything anyone does a deed for the sake of themselves and 2) Ev

So after many years of watching and finally taking some college classes about religion, my view about religion started to make more sense. For example the Ten Commandments express the following:

Another selfish deed is helping others. Do we really help others to help others, or do we help others to feel good about themselves. The initial reason is to feel good about ourselves, if that was not there, why would anyone help each other.

 THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST THY NEIGHBOR.
