             Are we a product of our decisions or the society in which we live? Which one does really carve the path of our lives and destiny? Is it the environment that indeed influences our life, or is it the will that strives within us? Do your actions speak your words? Though affected by the way our environment moves and works, still in every chapter of our lives, you"ll realize that in that certain state and certain spot, it was you, and only you, who brought yourself in there Whether be good or bad, it is your will, your own will to be doing such actions. And the question of satisfaction always takes place, our search for satisfaction that brings us to complicated decisions that we need to make Can you find satisfaction by being a puppet controlled by the way our society works? Can u???.
             In the book we can find the character of Mr. John Proctor as one of the product of his own decisions. Even from the very start, portraying a strong character, that is wielded by his beliefs and the by way he attain satisfaction, a farmer who represents all those who remained true to themselves and their morals. Proctor remains true to his neighbors by exposing his true feelings toward the church in Salem. He does not go to Church every Sunday, though not favoring the Devil. He is against the ideas and actions of Reverend Parris. For this very reason he does not always attend Church. Proctor expresses the way he speaks towards people when he says, "I may speak my heart, I think" (Miller, 31)! He always speaks the truth even when he knows that it would get himself into trouble.
