The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the most well known museums, not only in America, but in the whole world. Many people come to this great city just to visit this incredibly popular museum. The Metropolitan Museum of Art was founded in 1870 and is located in New York City’s Central Park along Fifth Avenue. The two-million-square-foot building has a great variety of different collections.
