Odyssey

As I walked around the town, I saw an old man come running towards me and looked as if he was in trouble. I ask him what was wrong and he in turn replied, " That young lad over there just took my money and goods." "No worries", I said, "I"ll get him and bring him to you so he can return your items". I followed him and when he saw me run up to him he immediately realize I was coming to get him and take the goods he took. It was a so easy to catch him that I didn't even break a sweat. So I took him to the old man and to give him his goods. He was very pleased he got his items back and invited me to his house. I happily accepted his offer because I hadn't eaten in days and needed to rest.
When we got to his house, I was very surprised to find that his house was more like the palace of a king. I stood there and gaze at the beauty of his splendor estate. The old man invited me in and told me to follow him so he can offer me hospitality. The old men seated me on a polished chair and urged me to help myself to food, and formally welcome me to his home. He said after I was done eating, he'll ask who I am. So he pour some ambrosia on a table, drew it to my side, and mixed it with a cup of nectar. I began to eat and drink, and when I finished satisfying my thirst and hunger, the old man started asking me questions:.
"So now that you are done eating and drinking, can u be so kind and tell me who you are? You must tell me where you come from, to what people you belong to. Tell me what brings you here and what parts of the world you have had the pleasure to visit. What kind of people have u met?".
I am Eurylochus, servant of Odysseus, Laertes son. I come from the rough land of Ithaca. Through my journey, I have encountered many places and met barbarous beings. Most of my companions have met their fate and will never see their homeland again. I will tell you what throughout my journey and the suffering I have endured.
