Give up smoking

Smoking is one of the worst habits. Every year 440,000 people die from smoking in the US (http://www.sfgate.com). Certainly, people know about harm which arises from tobacco smoking, and about 60 % smokers want to give up smoking. However, millions of people continue to smoke, causing an irreparable harm to the health, which is an example one of the most senseless acts of people. People frequently make illogical acts: they are fans of a soccer team which never to become the winner, conclude marriages with poorly suitable partners, go to have live in places where weather is very unpredictable, and do it only for one reason - they receive necessary emotions. Manufacturers of tobacco production know about it and use it.

Very few people know that besides nicotine, pitches and carbonic oxide the cigarette contains 3400 more harmful substances, switching even radioactive polonium. After a time, the person’s brain, programmed to derive enjoyment and fight against pain, begins to associate tickle with smoking and demands the nicotine constantly. The person becomes the emotional dependent of smoking. And so, in order to give up smoking, you need not only break off the bad habit, but also change your behavior and lifestyle.

Ask family and friends to support you in your decision to quit. Ask them about complete support and tolerance. Let them know beforehand, that probably you will be irritable and at times unbearable during parting with this harmful habit. Also it is necessary to take away all things from a house that are associated with smoking: cigarettes, lighter, ash-trays. Avoid places where smoke is allowed, and visit non-smoking places.
