In an athletes mind they want to be the best. In the beginning of every athlete’s career they hope to stand out from everyone else to get noticed. To get a scholarship and to go to college and maybe turn pro. Every athlete has dreams and in our mind the sky’s the limit. Some athletes aren’t has talented or big has others so they have to work extra hard to compete at a competitive level. They work hard and practice to be the best. Some have no chance to play in college or even play in high school. So they look to an alternative. They see that lifting weights is good but they think by using muscle-enhancing drugs they will become bigger and stronger. That it’s a fast solution so they can perform just has well without all that hard work. Athletes need to think of the long-term effects instead of thinking of today. They don’t realize how dangerous and addicting these drugs are. We need to let all athletes know how serious this before it gets even more out of control. Where it all!
