... five centuries. Exotic species are certainly a factor leading to endangerment. A species that faces overexploitation is a species that becomes endangered because of the rate in which he was using them. Unrestricted whale catching during the 20th century is an example of overexploitation, and the whaling industry brought many species of whales to extremely low population sizes. When several ... were nearly extinct, a number of nations (including us) agreed to abide by an international moratorium on whaling. Due to this moratorium, some whale species, such as the grey whale, have made gre...

This seemed unreasonable because people had been cutting off tails of many dogs but they never resulted in an offspring born without a tail for that same reason. Therefore, Lamarck's idea cannot be correct, mainly because these changes do not affect the genetic material. Change happens in genetic material only when games are involved ... it correct. Darwin observed that wild animals and plants showed variations just as domesticated animals and plants did. He filled his notebooks with records of height, weight, color, claw size, tail len...

... trying to show the evolutionary relationship between living things. Classically, most evidence was observational - meaning the evidence was the way something looked. For example, the bones in the flipper of a whale or the wing of a bat or the arm of a human all look similar. They're called homologous structures. Homologous structures are found in different organisms, but those structures have been ... ...
